I am bringing you BTS of how I navigate all of the dimensions of life as Mama, sharing the perspectives and choices (and the deeper context to it all) that have made my experience of motherhood so empowered and expansive and enriching to my entire life.

Motherhood has brought a new level of expansive liberation and deeply rooted thriving into literally every dimension of my Being and of my life.

Since becoming Mama, I have:
-felt more alive and in my purpose than ever before
-fallen more in love with myself
-deepened and widened my relationship with my husband
-grown my business exponentially
-made more money than ever before
-created massive shifts in dynamics with my family of origin (something I honestly started to believe just wouldn't happen in this lifetime)
-experienced more intentionality and fun in my relationships with friends
-felt more connected to and supported by my community of friends than I ever knew was possible.

Motherhood has undoubtedly been the most abundant expansion and evolution of my life.

This is not the story we usually hear about motherhood.

What has been normalized by most around motherhood is... depletion, exhaustion, sacrifice, overwhelm, limitation.

Stories of mothers either giving up their freedom, ambition, and individuality when they give birth... or otherwise becoming busy, distracted career moms.

Stories where... your children become the reason you can't be, do, have more in life? Where your children become the reason you are less successful and fulfilled? Where your children become a liability to your career? Where your career becomes a liability to your role as Mama?

When I was pregnant with my son, I was filled to the brim with fear about all the ways motherhood was going to limit me. I couldn't stop wondering and worrying about how being a mom was going to "take me away from" my many big personal and professional desires and ambitions.

I felt guilty for feeling and thinking this way... and I started to feel guilty for wanting more. Which goes against my big dreamer, visionary nature... and felt... awful.

I realized I had a decision to make.

I could either live into what I had unconsciously adopted as "normal" for mothers...

Or, I could get really intentional and heArtful and design the experience of motherhood that I want to have.

Beginning with the belief that I get to be, do, and have a wildly abundant fulfilled life, in every dimension of my life, because I am a Mama;

That my personal dreams and desires and professional visions and ambitions would all be fueled by my identity in motherhood;

And that this is actually of the highest service to my children.

I chose to live into that belief and build upon it every single day until my life began to reflect it as truth all around me.

Even as things got pretty cray cray... as I found out I was (surprise!) pregnant (double surprise!) with twins when my son was just 7 months old... then had a very difficult pregnancy that landed me in bedrest, having emergency surgery, in and out of doctors offices, and eventually living in the hospital for 2 months until I delivered our beautiful baby girls at 31 weeks and entered my Nicu Mama Era... before entering my 3 Under 2 Era lol... all while there were multiple other mega happenings in my personal life.

Even when it would have been so easy to collapse under the weight and pressure of holding It All...

I refused to buy into outdated, limited beliefs about what it meant to be Mama.

I continued to see every happening as an invitation, an opportunity to further design my own belief system, shape my own reality about what motherhood gets to be.

And my vision for us all as Mamas has continued to become more and more clear.

Here's the thing.

Of course motherhood changes... everything. Your identity; your relationship with your partner, your family, your friends; your relationship with your business and finances; your priorities; your experience of time.

But you get to choose how the changes impact and inform you... by choosing the meaning you make of them, and who you become with them.

You get to choose how you navigate It All.

And in this choice lives your power... to Have It All.

In this choice lives your power... to design the life of your wildest Mama dreams.

That is what I am here to support you in doing.

Multidimensional Mama is a 12-month journey into Empowered, Liberated Motherhood.

Where I will be sharing the macro choices and micro perspective shifts I have made that have allowed motherhood to be the most expansive, empowering agent of alchemy in my life, and my children to be the reason I am living into my wildest dreams this lifetime.
